The main advantage of vaping CBD over other methods of consumption is that it’s the fastest way to ingest CBD due to its high bio-availability level. Our 1000mg vape is suitable as an additive while enjoying your favourite vape flavours or can also be used on its own as a natural flavour.

CBD is not a licensed pharmaceutical medication, and therefore scientific claims cannot be made about the benefits of using CBD. Despite this, however, plenty of expert biological research and numerous scientific studies back up the abundant reasons consumers are choosing CBD to positively impact their life. With more and more research being done into the science behind CBD each day it has become a credible and valid supplement that could provide real benefits to a person’s life.

When it comes to choosing a CBD brand, it is important to make sure you have all the facts about the product. Choosing a reputable retailer or manufacturer that can provide the scientific evidence and certificates for their range is vital to ensuring you get a high-quality CBD product. We are always happy to provide our Certificates of Analysis for our products, or if you’d rather come to us directly with any questions, were always here to help and answer any questions you may have

The science and biological chemistry behind CBD might seem daunting at first, but it’s important to understand how and why you could benefit from CBD. It starts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. This is a communication system between our brain and the rest of our body that impacts multiple different bodily functions including stress, pain, appetite, and sleep. Our endocannabinoid system responds to the presence of cannabinoid compounds, such as CBD or THC. Providing your body with CBD can influence your endocannabinoid system to potentially provide you with a multitude of holistic benefits.

One of the more recent developments in CBD is the usage of CBD within topical products such as our Lip balm or muscle rub. These topical products work by utilising the body’s endocannabinoid system and absorbing the CBD through your skin. Our Liberty Organics Muscle rub combines the luxurious and nourishing effects of essential oils with CBD to provide you with a restorative and moisturising balm. The ingredients in our Liberty Organics are known to potentially help with conditions such as arthritis due to their anti-inflammatory properties.

Perhaps the most well-known forms of CBD is in the form of an oil tincture. Using one of our premium CBD oil tinctures is incredibly simple, simply withdraw the pipette from the bottle, and drop between five to ten drops of the pipette of CBD oil directly under your tongue. CBD oil is best administered underneath your tongue as it can be directly absorbed into the bloodstream via the sublingual glands. Sublingual administration means that the CBD oil stays out of the digestive system to result in a direct and effective method of ingestion, with a high level of bio-availability. It was important to us to create a luxurious product that is a pleasure to use; we have a range of two different flavoured CBD Oils: Seville orange and peppermint. The two flavours come in three different strengths.

CBD is an abbreviation of cannabidiol and is a compound extracted from the hemp plant. It has been reported to have excellent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic and neuroprotective qualities. In 2016 it became legal in the UK to sell CBD, or products containing CBD. Since then, CBD has continued to rise in popularity, however, there remains some confusion over the origin of this potential wonder ingredient.

First, let’s be clear: Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana are NOT the same thing.

Quite simply, CBD comes from the hemp plant. Hemp is a variety of the cannabis plant species that contains very low amounts of THC (the chemical that makes marijuana psychoactive). It cannot make you high. At  Liberty Organics, the CBD we use is completely THC-free and we test every batch to confirm this.

CBD is available in a variety of different forms designed for various styles of consumption. There are CBD vape e-liquids which are inhaled with the use of an e-cigarette, sublingual CBD oral drops which are taken under the tongue and topical oils, creams and sprays which are applied directly to the skin.

The human body is capable of producing its own endocannabinoids, but phytocannabinoids are known to help to kickstart our central regulatory system and provide the beneficial effects you’ve no doubt heard so much about.

Cannabinoids have been found to balance the body and mind, promoting a general sense of wellness, wellbeing and calm. CBD is the most high-profile and effective of these cannabinoids and as such has become increasingly popular in recent years. But how exactly does it work?

It all comes down to the Endocannabinoid System. Quite simply, the Endocannabinoid System is a communications system between the brain and the rest of our body and has an impact on many important functions. It effects how we move, how we feel, and how we react to certain external influences such as stress. The Endocannabinoid System responds to the presence of cannabinoid compounds such as CBD or THC.

Our body’s Endocannabinoid System works much like the nervous system – but in reverse. In the nervous system, a signal (which occurs as a type of chemical called a neurotransmitter) is released from the neurons in our brain and attaches to specific receptors on a nearby neuron. This second neuron then kicks into action and passes the message along. These neurotransmitter chemicals are responsible for many of our physical and mental activities.

However, in the Endocannabinoid System, this process works in the opposite way. Instead of originating in the brain and travelling down through the body, cannabinoids go in the other direction. They move up to the neurons to attach to cannabinoid receptors and, once attached, can control what happens the next time the neurons activate. They effectively limit the number of different neurotransmitters that a neuron can send, causing a number of changes in the body and mind.

Cannabinoid receptors were once thought to be located just within the brain. However, recent studies such as Cannabinoid Receptors and the Endocannabinoid System: Signalling and Function in the Central Nervous System published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information suggest that they actually exist throughout our bodies.

Research shows these receptors to be more numerous than any other receptor system and two main cannabinoid receptors have been identified so far: CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors. CB1 receptors are found mostly in the nervous system, connective tissues, gonads, glands and organs. CB2 receptors are located in the immune system and its associated structures.

Our products are completely THC-free, they are also stringently tested to demonstrate a ‘non-detect’ level. Certificates of Analysis can be provided for all our products.

Hemp can also be used in the production of paper, clothing, building materials, biofuel, food products, oils and more.

Marijuana generally contains higher concentrates of THC – the psychoactive substance and very low levels of CBD. Marijuana is illegal to possess in the UK Hemp is not.

Despite its worldwide popularity, we cannot currently make any medicinal claims about CBD in the United Kingdom. For this reason, we encourage you to read other people’s testimonials and experiences they have had with CBD and carry out your own research to learn whether CBD can be beneficial for you and your individual needs.

As more and more studies are undertaken into CBD, we should begin to uncover further evidence about the most effective uses for the product. Based on the significant scientific evidence carried out so far, America’s FDA unanimously recommended the approval of a CBD medication called Epidiolex to treat two rare forms of childhood epilepsy. Alongside the FDA’s landmark decision, numerous animal studies have shown promising evidence for the effectiveness of CBD as an anti-inflammatory medication.

An important factor to keep in mind is that everyone’s physical state is different, so what may work for one person may have different effects for another. This is why it’s best to try for yourself and in different amounts, increasing gradually until you find the dosage that suits you best.

Hemp and cannabis have been used as medicinal tools for many years but the study of CBD is still in its infancy and more clinical trials are needed before specific medical claims can be made. The best advice is to speak to fellow users, do your research, and try the product for yourself to see what works best for you.

When it comes to achieving the best dosage of CBD, a lot depends on what results you’re looking to achieve. Everyone from experienced CBD users to complete novices wonder this, but realistically there are no fixed rules on how much CBD an individual should be taking. We can however advise on some factors to keep in mind to help you make an educated decision. Firstly, it is important to remember that CBD intake is affected by the following influences:

• The concentration and quality of CBD
• Your bodyweight
• Your unique body chemistry
• The condition / ailment being treated

The main rule is that there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ dosage when it comes to CBD and you’ll likely have to go through some trial and error to work out the optimum dosage for your individual needs. You should also be aware that as your body changes over time, so too do the receptors in your Endocannabinoid System which are directly responsible for interactions with CBD. As a result, the amount of CBD you require will change throughout the course of your life.

You should first estimate how much CBD you require based on your bodyweight. As with most substances, individuals with a higher bodyweight will require more CBD to experience its effects than someone with a lower bodyweight. A good rule of thumb to determine your proper CBD dosage is to take 1-6mg of CBD for every 10 pounds of bodyweight. Use your level of pain or the severity of your ailment to work out whether to go for the lower or highe

CBD can also be absorbed through the skin, if the CBD oil is included in creams and lotions that are applied topically, or alternatively directly ingested when the active ingredient is included in food supplements.

We test all our products to ensure their potency, so you can be confident of the dosage you are buying and ingesting.

We have created the highest quality CBD and wellness products for you to use and enjoy from the CBD distillate used in our CBD oil to the 98% + pure CBD isolate used in the Vaping Liquids.
